The
Grand Pacific Wedding Chapel is non-denominational.
You have the option of using your own officiate, or you may
select one from a list we have compiled of area officiates that
are licensed to perform civil ceremonies.
One
of the most unique wedding chapels in Ohio, the Grand Pacific
Wedding Chapel was originally erected in 1851 as a Methodist
Episcopal church. Acquired in 1956 by the Masonic Lodge and
gracefully enjoyed until the spring of 2001. Purchased by Clint
Williams who has restored it to its original Victorian grace.
As
part of the authentic 2001 restoration, the chapel's bell tower
and steeple, destroyed during a 1909 storm, have been rebuilt
using an antique bell recovered from a Presbyterian Church torn
down in 1969. The original stained glass windows were also refurbished
to capture the ambiance of the era.
The
furnishings reflect the chapel's Victorian Era with lovely antiques,
wicker, and upholstered furniture. The area behind the altar
has been transformed into a beautiful, formal Bride's dressing
room complete with a balcony overlooking the flowing creek and
arched bridge. A vintage 1880 back bar and dance area create
a memorable setting you and your guests will love. The garden
entrance leads to a charming reception area with accommodations
for 50 to 130 guests. For a larger reception, please consider
The Grand Pacific Hotel.
The
Historic Grand Pacific Wedding Chapel offers the elegance and
romance your special day deserves. Celebrate your wedding in
the enchanting grace and style of a bygone era.
